Grandchildren

It is hard to believe that I have been married for seven years and now have seven grandchildren. N (little girl, 5 lbs. 13 oz., 18 in) was born in September and DH was able to be at her blessing. D (little boy, 8lbs. 7oz, 20.5 in) was born yesterday! Believe it or not we have one more on the way, so there will be eight by the time we celebrate our eight year anniversary! I have updated the slideshow with some new pictures, I know that some of them have grown since the picture, but it is what I have. I am very lucky to belong to this family, and I hope they all know how much we love and miss them and look forward to living closer someday!

Catching up is so hard to do...

It has been awhile since I posted, and even then it was just a picture. We have been very busy, at least it feels that way. So here is a post to catch everything up. I finished the semester mid-December. I actually made the Dean's List again, to some that might not seem out of the ordinary, but I really do have to work hard to earn grades that I can be proud of. Of course, anyone who knows me, knows that I am never satisfied and will never stop trying to do well. Little K is growing up so fast on me now, he comes home from school with interesting stories all the time. He still loves Transformers, and has acquired quite a collection. Of course now he wants a costume (three to be exact) that he can wear and transform from robot to car. (This is thanks to a youtube video, some missionaries told us about!) He doesn't quite get that mom is not so good with building things and this could take a long while, but of course he will not let me forget about it either, so maybe by Halloween? We had a very enjoyable, relaxing Christmas and all three of us were able to be here on the actual day of Christmas! That is not always the norm for us, but at least it has been since we moved up north. The week after Christmas I tried to do something fun everyday with Little K since we were both out of school. On Monday we went rollerskating, Tuesday we had a friend over and then went to Dinoland in the evening, Wednesday we went to the movies, Thursday and Friday we went back to Dinoland (its an indoor play area where we like to go when it is cold). On Saturday all three of us went rollerskating, DH was smart enough to not where skates, but Little K wanted me to, so I did. Needless to say trying to pick Little K up from a fall, I fell and sprained my ankle and twisted my knee. So I tried to stay off my feet for the next week, while Little K was in school and I was not. So to those waiting on a Christmas letter, it will be coming... sometime. But things are starting to get back to normal, I am back in classes and it looks to be just as tough if not tougher, Little K is back in school, and DH is back out on the road. Here are a few pictures of Christmas and sledding. I did not get any pictures of our other outings :( (That is Little K at the top of the hill with the green sled on his head.)
