Sorry the pictures are not in order. Grandma T was here for two weeks and left just after Christmas. But she got to be here to open Christmas presents with us. It was a lot of fun, this year Little K was in charge of handing out the presents after reading the tag as to who the presents was for. It was great to see him reading and see the joy it gave him to be able to read, not just his name, mom, and dad; but grandma and our first names as well. We did not have time to do much but maintain the first week Grandma T was here due to the weather and finals, and the weather really kept us in a lot. She said it was so cold that it took her breath away! But on the Friday after Christmas we went to the Hjemkost Heritage Center, which features a full scale replica Viking ship that was built by a teacher from around here and actually his family sailed it to Norway, he had passed away due to leukemia. It also has a full scale replica Stav church, that was also built and carved by an area resident. Then on Saturday morning we went to the Yunker Children's Museum to so Little K could have some interactive fun. Grandma T left Saturday evening just before my friends from where we used to live arrived. I worked at the hospital with T and we became good friends. T and her daughter, son-in-law, and new grandson were headed to the children's hospital in Minneapolis. They stayed overnight here, so we had dinner together and got to visit.
