New Callings and Old Friends
Well it has been another week, and I am still not caught up on everything. In some areas things are better, but in others not so good. DH and I have both been given callings in our new ward, we both are Sunday school teachers. I teach the 10-11 year olds and today was my first day, it wasn't that bad. I have a pretty good set of students, all boys except for one girl who is probably moving to Wisconsin. But they actually were well behaved and I think I'll be ok. DH will be teaching the 12-13 year olds and I guess they are a handful. DH was in their class today but not teaching. The teacher up to this point has been a 14 year old young lady in the ward, oofdah. Anyway, DH said she is actually a really good teacher who knows her stuff, but the boys are rowdy and hard to handle. DH is a little unsure, but I think he will do wonderfully well. As to old friends, two of the area missionaries came by yesterday and knocked on our front door. When DH opened the door, low and behold, there was Elder Skillen! He served in Williston back in November when he was first out on his mission and now he has just transferred to Fargo. We visited for about four hours and fed them dinner. It was great to see Elder Skillen again, he and Elder Christianson were so helpful to Kelly after his first surgery. What an amazing blessing to have our paths cross again!

Absolutely amazing how that works. It seems to me like a Tender Mercy from the Lord, letting him know that he is aware of you and where you are and what you are doing! Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
